Samsung may bring Galaxy S22 with Exynos 2200 to US, SD898 to India
The next Samsung flagship chipset is the Exynos 2200, likely to launch some of the Galaxy S22 phones in early 2022. Reports from South Korea state that the business might break its traditions and introduce phones to the United States and China with an in-house processor.
Two major carriers in the countries, Verizon and China Telecom have begun negotiations with Samsung to offer exclusive models with Exynos chips while maintaining the Qualcomm option of their domestic competitors.
However, it seems that the current Exynos is a powerhouse, which is why companies are trying to reach an agreement with the Korean manufacturer.
The source also stated 100% of Samsung Galaxy S22 devices in Europe, arriving from the South Korean newsletter board, will get the next Exynos in the tradition, but India may transfer into team Qualcomm.
Another fascinating piece of information from the released source is the situation at Samsung’s Suwon Headquarters. The division of IM (IT & Mobile communication) calls on the Semiconductor team to cut the cost of the chip “because to Exynos2200’s low output.” The mobile unit is already negotiating for lower prices with Qualcomm, which is why it is difficult for the S.LSI team to decline any suggestions.
